Clinton A. Lewis, Jr., 55, was named chief executive officer of AgroFresh Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGFS), a global leader in produce freshness solutions, in April 2021. He previously served as executive vice president and group president of international operations, commercial development, global genetics and PHARMAQ at Zoetis Inc. (NYSE: ZTS), a global leader in the discovery, development, manufacture and commercialization of animal health medicines and vaccines that was spun off by Pfizer in 2013. Prior to being named to that role in May 2015, Lewis served as president of international operations at Zoetis from 2015 to 2018 and as president of U.S. operations from 2013 to 2015. He joined Pfizer in 1988 in the human health pharmaceutical segment and held positions of increasing responsibility in various commercial operations and general management roles.
Lewis serves on the board of directors of AgroFresh Solutions, Inc., Covis Pharma, a human health specialty pharmaceutical company, and United Veterinary Care, a private veterinary hospital company. He formerly served as chairman of the board for the Animal Health Institute, an industry trade association in the U.S., and served as treasurer for International Federation for Animal Health, an industry trade association in Europe. Director since November 4, 2017.
