Designer Associate Program (DAP)

Our Job is to Help You Succeed

In the Designer Associate Program, college recruits leverage hands-on experiences at a manufacturing facility or design center that encourages them to implement IP’s Think the Customer engagement strategy as they work with our 25,000 customers across the world. This program:

  • Targets college recruits from packaging, design or mechanical engineering programs
  • Leverages hands-on development at a manufacturing facility or design center to prepare you for a structural design role
  • Provides opportunities to contribute to innovative packaging solutions through optimization and win/win design collaboration
  • Refines your career interest by growing through levels of design or other related fields, such as process improvement, project management, sales or manufacturing leadership

  • Structural Designer
  • Lead Designer (local or national)
  • Segment Specialist
  • Design Services Manager

Your Job is to Help Us Move Forward

We are looking for students completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Packaging, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong academic performance with a 3.0 or greater GPA
  • Strong knowledge of CAD, Adobe® Photoshop®, Project Management and Microsoft® Office products preferred.
  • Age 18 or older

Sales Associate Development Program (SADP)

Our Job is to Help You Succeed

Get hands-on training and develop a solid foundation through the Sales Associate Development Program, which provides:

  • College recruits from sales programs and early career professionals with 2-5 years of solution-selling experience
  • A structured approach to early career development though hands-on exposure to the manufacturing and commercial processes
  • Project work designed to develop professional, technical and leadership skills
  • Opportunities to network and engage with senior leaders
