Ethics at Our Core. One way we demonstrate we are a responsible corporate citizen is to uphold high ethical standards. Being ethical takes work. We work continuously to promote an ethical culture and we provide tools and education to our employees and partners to ensure that we can fulfill our commitment to doing things The IP Way. Our Code of Conduct provides common standards to follow so we act consistently and with integrity in all of our business dealings. We expect each employee, officer and member of our board of directors to uphold the standards and expectations defined in the Code. We also expect third parties with whom we do business to comply with our Third Party Code of Conduct, which is based on the principles of the Code.

International Paper takes all reports seriously and we do not tolerate retaliation against those that raise good-faith concerns about unlawful or unethical conduct.
